Why Roaming Matters
Roaming allows you to spread your influence across the map, helping other lanes and controlling objectives. A well-timed roam can snowball the entire game.
When to Roam
Look for these opportunities:
- Your ADC just backed and wave is pushing toward them
- Your ADC has a safe champion that can farm under tower
- Mid lane or jungle needs help with a skirmish
- You've established lane dominance and can leave safely
When NOT to Roam
- Wave is crashing into your tower
- Your ADC will die 1v2
- You don't know where enemies are
- Dragon is spawning soon

- Bard - Built for roaming with chimes and portal
- Pyke - High mobility and kill threat
- Thresh - Lantern enables jungle ganks
- Alistar - Strong engage for ganks
Communication
Always ping when you leave lane. Your ADC needs to know they should play safe. A successful roam is worthless if your ADC dies for it.
